The Lantica collection is the thickest wide plank we carry: 13/16 inch overall with a 6mm European Oak wear layer, in boards up to 96 inches long. That length matters in a big room, because fewer end joints read as one continuous floor rather than a grid.

A 6mm wear layer is unusual in engineered flooring. It gives you the sanding life of a solid floor with the dimensional stability of an engineered core, which is why this collection works over radiant heat where a solid 3/4 inch floor would be a risk.

The colour comes from a reactive stain that responds to the tannin in the oak itself, so the tone develops in the wood rather than sitting on top of it. Backed by a 25-year limited residential warranty with a lifetime structural warranty.
